Wireing up Myford Super 7 electric motor Hello everyone
posted by Shurbunkin on 19 December 2019
My family and I work in a family Engineering business. My grandad has sadly passed away and we have decided to bring his old lathe he earned his living on into the workshop. Just could not throw it away and he would be pleased we are using it in the business Since having it in the warehouse I have worked out how to wire the drum but the motor does not have any terminal markings. I have a wiring diagram to work to but as the terminals on the motor aren`t marked I`m working blind. Also there seems to be a capacitor connected to the motor which isn`t shown in the wiring diagram Can anyone help me please If I had the ability to add a couple of pictures I would Newman electric motor Connection diagram FD1113 Motor no.
