upgrading to Myford lathe Hi... I realise this is a subjective question...
posted by wazthewiz on 18 February 2016
I`m going to upgrade to a Myford lathe and asking interested members for their personal views on which model to aim for? I`m an ex-production turner (40 years ago) so have some experience albeit rusty! have had a Sieg mini lathe for some years since retirement and now want a little more versatillity and accuracy built into a new ( second hand machine... So acvise/ opinions on whether I should go for a basic Myford or aim for one with a few knobs and whistles. so to speak. All advice/ opinions on machine capabilities will be much appreciated. .. Regards to all - Warren |
